South East Schools Finals to take place this weekend

Berkhamsted school celebrate after winning

The annual South East Schools Finals takes place this weekend, pitting the top lacrosse-playing schools from the region against each other in a battle to be the best.

Hosted at the Old Caterhamians Rugby Club, Surrey, on Saturday 4 February, the 2023 South East Schools Finals features 13 schools, including Bedford, Berkhamsted, Guildford High, Lady Eleanor Holles, Putney High, St George’s, St Paul’s, Benenden, Caterham, Haberdashers’ Aske’s, St Catherine’s, St Albans High, and Wycombe Abbey.

A natural pre-cursor to the National Schools Lacrosse Championships, the South East Schools Finals is a great opportunity for under-18 school teams in the south east of England to play in a 10-a-side tournament and keep those competition skills up to a high standard before heading to Aldershot for National Schools in March.

Many of the games in 2023 will be streamed live by Lacrosse Live UK, who also streamed the recent Southern Box Lacrosse Winter Box League, but there is also an option to watch in person on the day as well.

In addition, updates will be given across the South East Women’s Lacrosse Association’s social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
