Women’s Lacrosse Coach | Oxford University

Oxford University Women’s Lacrosse is looking for a passionate, driven and skilled lacrosse coach to train their 1st and 2nd teams for the rest of the current season.

As a coach, you will plan one or two training sessions per week, focusing on skill development and game preparation. You will discuss the club’s goals, team selections and upcoming games with the captains and preferably be available to coach weekly league matches as well as our Varsity Match on 1 March.

Location, Hours, Pay
1-4 hours per week depending on availability, until March 2025, subject to renewal next season
£30 per hour
Either or both training sessions at Iffley Road Sports Centre on Fridays 17:00-18:30 and Sundays 18:00-19:30
Varsity Match on Saturday 1 March in Cambridge
Where possible, Wednesday afternoon league matches, either at University Parks or away

Head Coach | Cobham Lacrosse Club

Interested in developing club lacrosse at grassroots? Come and join Cobham as Head Coach! They’re a Club with juniors from U9-U15 plus a 16+ section. They play in both the SEWLA junior and senior women’s leagues. They need a new Head Coach for the coming 2024/25 season.

As Head Coach you’d lead 8-18+ training on Saturday afternoons (1-4:30pm) and, potentially, First Team (16+) training on Thursday evenings (6:15-7:30pm). League matches are on advertised Sunday mornings.

The ideal candidate would work closely with the Chair, Fixtures Manager and Tournament management team to plan the annual tournament in May.

Interested in coaching Sixes format? They have sixes markings laid and plan more matches in the Sixes format as the 2028 Olympics approaches.

Cobham has great pay, mileage rates for matches, and a bonus scheme for work well-done.

Ideally, the Head Coach will be a Level 2 (England Lacrosse ‘Field’) or above coach, with excellent playing history. They should also hold/be happy obtaining an umpiring qualification, and they require senior coaches to have Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications as per England Lacrosse regulations. The ideal candidate will also need a DBS check, which Cobham fund, to be carried out via England Lacrosse.

MB Coaching and Teaching Services | Lacrosse Coach

MB Coaching and Teaching Services are looking for a proactive and motivated junior lacrosse coach to deliver coaching sessions to children in schools from 7-16 years old.

The ideal candidate will be motivated by the challenge of coaching junior lacrosse and should have a passion for the game and developing the sport.

Salary: £30+ per hour
