Interested in developing club lacrosse at grassroots? Come and join Cobham as Head Coach! They’re a Club with juniors from U9-U15 plus a 16+ section. They play in both the SEWLA junior and senior women’s leagues. They need a new Head Coach for the coming 2024/25 season.
As Head Coach you’d lead 8-18+ training on Saturday afternoons (1-4:30pm) and, potentially, First Team (16+) training on Thursday evenings (6:15-7:30pm). League matches are on advertised Sunday mornings.
The ideal candidate would work closely with the Chair, Fixtures Manager and Tournament management team to plan the annual tournament in May.
Interested in coaching Sixes format? They have sixes markings laid and plan more matches in the Sixes format as the 2028 Olympics approaches.
Cobham has great pay, mileage rates for matches, and a bonus scheme for work well-done.
Ideally, the Head Coach will be a Level 2 (England Lacrosse ‘Field’) or above coach, with excellent playing history. They should also hold/be happy obtaining an umpiring qualification, and they require senior coaches to have Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications as per England Lacrosse regulations. The ideal candidate will also need a DBS check, which Cobham fund, to be carried out via England Lacrosse.
