The England Men’s National Team is ready to welcome one of the top programmes in the US to England this weekend as NCAA DI side Hofstra Pride face-off against our World Championship squad in two games in Macclesfield.
Both matches are taking place at Macclesfield RUFC, Priory Lane, SK10 4AF, with The Hofstra Pride, based in Long Island, NY set to provide stern opposition for our men’s side ahead of next month’s World Championship.
Entry to both matches is pay on the day, £6 adults; £4 U16s; £15 Family (2 Adults & 2 U16s) with all proceeds raised going towards the Men’s National Team World Championship campaign.
Sunday’s scrimmage will also be preceded by a special junior clinic for any young players to give them the opportunity to join both teams and get advice from some of the best in the business! Places are still available to book (below) with the clinic also giving entry to the afternoon’s match.
Hofstra’s men’s programme, who have spent the week in Ireland before heading over to the North West, are led by Head Coach Seth Tierney who has been in the role since 2006 and is also an Assistant Coach on the US Men’s National Team.
