Vacancy | England Men's U20 Assistant Coach

England Lacrosse is looking for committed, enthusiastic, and inspirational individuals to work alongside the England Mens Under 20 Head Coach in delivering a programme to support players ongoing development and transition towards the England Men’s Senior Programme.

The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for delivering discipline specific technical and tactical coaching aligned to the Head Coaches playing philosophy, integrating these skills with the physical robustness, attitudes and behaviours to eventually perform on a senior world stage.

The successful applicant(s) will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of plans for the U20 programme and tasked with assisting the Head Coach in developing a culture which challenges players to operate daily at the highest standards required to achieve sustained development.

The appointed person(s) will need to be comfortable working with high potential young people and adept at working collaboratively as part of a team of coaches to achieve maximum output from available resources.

Alongside supporting the delivery of a comprehensive domestic training programme there will be requirement to support the introduction of athletes to international competition where required.

The Assistant Coach(es) will work closely with the Head Coach, Team Manager and additional coaches and support staff, overseen by the England Lacrosse National Performance Manager to ensure the programme is aligned with England Lacrosse’s vision and values.

The successful candidate will also be required to work collaboratively with staff from other programmes within the England Lacrosse athlete pathway in solidifying the synergy, direction, and clear progression pathway across the programme.

Please note, this is a voluntary role with reasonable expenses reimbursed and successful applicants will need to have availability to attend a development tour between August 18th – 23rd to Prague.
