England Lacrosse is pleased to announce that World Lacrosse has confirmed the selection of officials for the 2020 World Lacrosse Men’s U19 World Championship, with a five-strong team of representatives heading out to Limerick from England.
Peter Davidson, James Hawksworth, Andrew Higginbottom, and Michael Leahy have all been selected as on-field officials, while Dan Arnison will be part of the group of officiating coaches.
Following applications to England Lacrosse, EL then put forward officials to World Lacrosse for confirmation as representatives for the tournament.
The team of administrators, officials and officiating coaches features 51 representatives from 14 countries at the Championship taking place in Limerick, Ireland from 9-18 July 2020.
Tom Sutton, World Lacrosse Chair of Men’s Officiating, said: “We look forward to gathering this diverse team to provide quality officiating during the event. The process of preparing began several months ago and will continue through and beyond the closing ceremonies.”
