England Lacrosse is delighted to announce that the England - Japan international double header on Sunday 3 May will take place at the home of Harlequins, the Twickenham Stoop.
Both the England men’s and women’s teams face Japan in the second match of an international series showcasing high quality lacrosse in England against world level opponents.
The games will follow on from the first double header taking place the previous day at Sale FC Rugby Club, Manchester.
England men’s side will open the day against their Japanese counterparts, who they beat to 5th place at the 2018 World Championship.
Following the men’s curtain raiser, England women, 2017 World Cup bronze medal winners, will take on Japan for the first time since 2017.
The use of the Twickenham Stoop will give players and fans access to first-class facilities, as well as hopefully showcase the game to a wider audience, increasing the potential fan base of the sport.
These fixtures continue to build on the use of The Stoop as a multi-sport venue following England Hockey internationals held at the ground both in 2019 and this coming summer.
Full details regarding match timings and ticket information will be released in the next week.
