Blues and Hampstead announce squads ahead of 2024 Ken Galluccio Cup

Blues and Hampstead have announced their squads as they look to be named the best teams in Europe at the 2024 Ken Galluccio Cup over the weekend.

Both squads are packed full of world-class players with the reigning women’s champions, Blues, naming a 13-player squad boasting talents such as Miho Sakurai, Jane Lee, and Izzy Middleton.

Hampstead, who finished third in 2023, take a 20-strong squad to Catalonia as they look to back up their National Club Championship victory with a first Ken Galluccio Cup title since 2019.

Blues have been drawn in Group A alongside Oslo (Norway), Wettingen Wild (Switzerland), and Madrid Osos (Spain) while Hampstead will play a round robin competition against Hamburg Warriors, Oslo Saints, Amsterdam Lions, and Olsen Saints; both competitions will move into a knockout stage following the first round of action.
