Appian to sponsor England at 2022 Women's World Championship

England Lacrosse and Appian, a leader in low-code, have signed a deal for Appian to become Platinum Sponsor of the England Women’s National Team at the 2022 Women’s Lacrosse World Championship.

The team will sport the Appian logo on both the red and white team playing shirts at the Championship, which is being broadcast exclusively across ESPN in the UK and USA in a landmark deal for lacrosse globally.

In addition, Appian will have a presence across the England Lacrosse website and team social media channels throughout the Championship as they support the squad bidding to take gold in Towson.

Appian makes it easy for businesses to rapidly build enterprise software applications through a unified low-code platform. Low-code allows you to program a computer through a visual interface, such as by drawing a workflow diagram. It’s a much more intuitive and human way of interacting with a machine than coding. Low-code makes it much faster to build, modify, and execute enterprise applications, delivering massive agility to organisations.

“We are extremely grateful for Appian’s investment into the women’s national team and women’s sport. We are delighted to welcome them on board at such an exciting time for lacrosse on the international stage,” said Hannah Bowe, England Lacrosse Chair.

“Appian is a global leader in their field and we are pleased to enter into a partnership with them at this stage in their journey.

“Both organisations have ambitious plans for the future and we hope this sponsorship ultimately leads to success both on and off the field – beginning with the upcoming World Championship to which the team goes with all our very best wishes.”

“We are excited to support the England Women’s National Team in their quest for victory at the World Cup,” said Paul Maguire, Senior Vice President of EMEA and APAC at Appian.

“The team brings speed and agility to the field, just as Appian brings speed and agility to the world’s largest organisations.”
