Nottingham Trent University (NTU) have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring performance coach to manage the Women’s Lacrosse programme while also completing a Master’s degree on a scholarship at the university.

NTU are looking for a recent graduate or someone who is looking to complete a master’s degree but who is also an aspiring performance coach.

The role will be managing the women’s programme alongside Head of Lacrosse, Sam Patterson, primarily with the women’s performance team with a secondary focus on 2nd and 3rd teams working alongside their two development coaches.

Alongside coaching the Women’s Lacrosse programme, the successful applicant will receive a scholarship to largely cover the cost of a Master’s degree qualification.

NTU have a large number of scholars next year with both junior international and NCAA level experience. The women’s performance team were promoted into the BUCS Premiership B and also made the BUCS Trophy Final last season only for it to be cancelled due to COVID.

They will ideally have an EL Level 2 Coaching award, however NTU would also pay for a Level 3 Talent award and associated officiating courses.

The coach will be expected to deliver high quality coaching services to the women's lacrosse programme,  possessing an in-depth understanding of coaching styles and practical delivery and the needs of performance athletes. They will also understand student-athlete recruitment and be able to assist with recruitment of high-performance athletes to NTU both from the U.K. and abroad.
