The annual NEMLA Flags Finals are just around the corner with two days of full on action at Rochdale Lacrosse Club culminating in the crowning of 12 winners across the festival weekend.
The Senior Flags final features a fourth consecutive meeting between Poynton and Cheadle, with Poynton having won all the previous three, after winning their first ever Senior Flags in 2016.
Cheadle won the NEMLA Premier 1 convincingly, only losing one game all season, however that 7-3 loss did come against Poynton in Cheadle’s final league game of the year.
Cheadle’s A side, both Wilmslow sides and Mellor are also all going for the league and flags double after winning all their respective leagues.
